This will then unlock their potential unrestrained by their families’ situation. Therefore, KGS is partnering SG Bono to roll out a laptop donation program to low-income families in Singapore.
We are seeking donations of unused laptops in working condition from you or your company. Donated laptops will be given to underprivileged families in Singapore.

Frequently asked questions
Beneficiaries are Singaporeans, who are Blue CHAS card holders. They are mainly lower income families with more than 2 children in the household, and some seniors.
We welcome your support in any of the following ways:
- Donate your decommissioned laptops.
- Donate cash that will be used to purchase the replacement parts needed to refurbish the laptops, such as hard disks and RAM.
We strongly recommend that you remove the data on the laptops.
If you wish to send the laptop(s) for a thorough data wipe (International standard – DoD 5220.22-M) before donating, you can opt for this optional advance data erasure service at a fee of $10/HDD. It will include a certificate of data destruction. In the event that the hard disk is faulty and cannot be wiped out completely, KGS will perform data degaussing or physical destruction of the hard disk.
No, the identity of the beneficiaries will not be shared, to protect their privacy.
However, if you provide a generic email address for your company, SGBono will include a note identifying the donor company when they distribute the laptop to beneficiaries. They may reach out to express their thanks!
