KGS Welcomes Lunar New Year 2026 with Inclusive Ang Bao Artwork

As Lunar New Year 2026 approaches, KGS continues its commitment to sustainability and social impact by launching a meaningful ang bao initiative—one that celebrates inclusion, creativity, and community partnership.

This year, KGS is proud to print its 2026 Lunar New Year ang bao featuring original artwork created by students from Eden School and artists supported by the Autism Association Singapore. The initiative reflects KGS’s belief that festive traditions can also be a platform to uplift voices that are often underrepresented.

More Than a Festive Design

Ang baos are a symbol of blessing, renewal, and goodwill during Lunar New Year. For KGS, they are also an opportunity to spark conversations about inclusion and purpose.

The artwork featured on the 2026 ang baos was developed by individuals on the autism spectrum, each piece reflecting unique perspectives, expressions, and creativity. Rather than commissioning a conventional festive design, KGS chose to spotlight authentic art created by the community—allowing each ang bao to carry a deeper story beyond its visual appeal.

Every line, colour, and motif represents individuality, reminding recipients that creativity comes in many forms.
