Supporting the School Recycling League 2024 and Empowering Young Minds for Sustainability

KGS is delighted to have been a key logistics partner for the School Recycling League 2024, an impactful initiative by SembWaste that encourages schools across Singapore to take an active role in recycling. Nearly 300 schools, including preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools, participated in this year’s program, fostering environmental awareness and responsibility among students of all ages.

KGS’s Role in Driving Recycling Efforts Across Singapore

This year, the league successfully collected 15 tonnes of clean, source-segregated recyclables, including paper, glass, plastics, metals, and e-waste. KGS played an essential role in ensuring these recyclables were transported efficiently and responsibly, contributing to the diversion of 59KGCO₂ from landfills and incineration. This achievement reflects the power of collaboration and community effort in driving sustainable outcomes.
